No music, no life Vol. 4

I love music very much, so I cannot live without music. I wanna many people to know so many awesome music because many people probably don't know about this music. Thus, I will show you a lot of bands or musicians whom I thought are awesome, entitling "no music, no life".

This time, I will show "Coaltar of the Deepers".
"Coaltar of the Deepers" makes noise and tone, that is, the sounds are mixed various music such as Thrash Metal, Neo Acoustic, Techno, Bossa Nova, and so on. The band receives the backing of enthusiastic rock fans and NARASAKI who is the leader conducts various musical activities.
Most Japanese don't know the band, but people around the world appreciate their music. I think that their music is Rock which Japanese perform to the world. I like such bands which get their music known in the world.

Book review 2-09

I read this book, "APOLLO 13". This story is also an American film in 1995 which is based on a true story.

Jim Lovell who is an experienced astronaut will board APOLLO 14 but the project changes, so he boards APOLLO 13 on very short notice. He chooses his team member but he is informed that one of them, Ken, may be at risk for German measles. Jim makes the decission to bamp Ken off the flight and replace him with Jack.
On 14th April, APOLLO 13 takes off. Immidiately after the launch, an explosion occurs. As the result, oxygen leak from the oxygen tank and developed power of fuel buttery get dropping. Experts predict that it is hopless situation but Gene who is the flight directer tries to return the crews. On the Earth, Ken simulates how to return to Earth. In the APOLLO 13 they sustain hope that they return to Earth. Then, they decide to penetrate the atmosphere. After the atmosphere entry, they can not communicate for about 3 minutes. However, it already takes 3 minutes after the atmosphere entry. Then, they can communicate. They return to Earth safely.

I enjoyed this book. I like this story.

Movie Review 4 -Mrs. Doubtfire-

Mrs. Doubtfire is an American comedy movie in 1993.
Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) who didn't like serious was a voice actor and had a lot of kinds of voices. He had a wife, Miranda Hillard (Sally Field) and three children, Lydia (Lisa Jakub), Chris (Matthew Lawrence), and Natalie (Mara Wilson) and loved them very much. He worked some animation studio but he quited the job because he lived up to his beliefs. The day, he gave a birthday party for Chris who was his son, so he invited so many his friends and animals. They had a wild time and littered his house but then Miranda who was serious came back home. She was stunned to look at own house, so she decided to divorce him. As a result of trial, he lost custody of his children for two months because he didn't have a job and house to live in, so he could meet his children only in Saturday. He despaired and lived off his brother, Frank (Harvey Fierstein) who was an aritst doing a makeup. He had to find a new job and new house in the two months, or he lost custody of his children forever. At first, he looked for a new job and found it. His new job was carrying some properties in TV studio. However, he couldn't stand seeing his children only once in a week because he was anxious to see them, so he decided to be a housekeeper. Then, he asked his gay brother to change him for woman. With the cosmetics skills of him and of his brother’s partner, he became an old woman as Mrs. Doubtfire. He succeeded in being a housekeeper and he worked perfectly as a housekeeper. His children studied harder and got better grades at school because of him/her, and Miranda also felt happier. Therefore, Mrs. Doubtfire was accepted by them. Then, Miranda met Stu (Pierce Brosnan) who was her former boyfriend again and then it came out for children except Natalie that Mrs. Doubtfire was Daniel, but they promised not to tell that.
Daniel criticized some TV program which was for children in his workplace and Jonathan Lundy (Robert Prosky) who was the president saw his clowning with toy dinosaur and he thought it was interesting, so he wanted to hear his idea for new TV program, and so he promised to meet at diner. He was happy but the day was Miranda’s birthday, so Stu invited her, her children, and Mrs. Doubtfire, so meeting with the president and diner with the Hillards and Stu was at the same time and at the same restaurant. Thus, he had to change clothes in the bathroom to go both to his family and to his boss, but his disguise was revealed. Miranda is shocked to learn that her beloved housekeeper is really her ex-husband.
Finally, he lost custody of his children, but then, he could have his TV program as Mrs. Doubtfire. Miranda and the children missed him/her, so she decided to ask him as their father to take care of the children.
I thought this movie was very interesting and heartwarming story. This movie also teaches what family is and importance of family. What impressed me was personally using Aerosmith’s song, “Dude” in this movie. Mrs. Doubtfire danced to the music of it with cleaning. I like that scene.

I love music very much, so I cannot live without music. I wanna many people to know so many awesome music because many people probably don't know about this music. Thus, I will show you a lot of bands or musicians whom I thought are awesome, entitling "no music, no life".
This time, I wanna show you "NINE INCH NAILS" which is an American band. Now, I introduced "NINE INCH NAILS" as a band, but actually, the band is also a project of Trent Reznor who is a main person in the band.
"NINE INCH NAILS" is an Industrial band. "Industrial" is one of genre of music and the sound is made by electronic instruments or computers, which is often found in Rock and Dance music.
Trent Reznor makes innovative and precisive sound and performs radical staging, so his sound and performance have impact on many artists. Industrial music was considered as an underground music but he made the music popular.
He won Grammy Award as the best metal performer in 1993 and in 1996. Also, he was named TIME's Person of the Year in 1997.

acquiring driver's licence

Finally, I got driver's licence. I felt that it took so long time. Actually, I went to driver's school for about 10 months because I was too busy at that time such as writing so many reports, reading so many books, and like that.
Anyway, I am happy to acquire driver's licence.

Book Review 2-08

I read this book, "MR BEAN". Mr. Bean is famous as a strange and funny character around the world. "MR BEAN" was a film based on the TV series in 1997.

Mr. Bean is a curator in an art museum, The National Gallery. He is sent with a painting, "Whistler's Mother" to America as an authority of the painting but what he is the authority is a lie. He blows up a storm at the airport in America. After that, he decides to stay in David's home but he breaks "Whistler's Mother". He sneeze in front of the painting so the part of the painting is broken. Thus, he juggles with a poster of the picture and exhibit it.

On the day of the exhibition, the poster as "Whistler's Mother" doesn't come to light and Mr. Bean's speech surprisingly touches the hearts of the people. Then, he knows Jennifer who is a daughter of David was involved in a traffic accident. Mr. Bean brings her back to life by coincident.

At the last, he returns to England. He gets into bed. Before he went to bed, he looked up at the wall opposite his bed and smiled. There is the famous painting with the funny face.

When I read this book, I was happy. I thought Mr. Bean is so interesting, so I want to watch the new movie, "Mr. Bean's Holiday".

No music, no life Vol.2

I love music very much, so I cannot live without music. I wanna many people to know so many awesome music because many people probably don't know about this music. Thus, I will show you a lot of bands or musicians whom I thought are awesome, entitling "no music, no life".
This time, I will introduce to you one of Japanese bands, "THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS".
"THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS" are KYONO(vocal), TAKESHI UEDA(bass, vocal, programming), and MOTOKATSU MIYAGAMI(dram, programming). They are often categolized "Mixture Rock" or "Digital Hardcore" but it doesn't matter to me. Anyway they play so powerful music and the sound ownz.
They had played their music in England two times, and they took part in big rock festivals in England which are called "OZZ FEST" and "KERRANG FEST", so they are popular in Europe.
Therefore, I think they are one of leading Japanese Rock bands. Please check it out!!

Book Review 2-07

I read "the JUNGLE BOOK".

A family of wolves takes a little boy, Mowgli, into their home in the jungle. Mowgli learns and plays with the other cubs. In the jungle, we can see so many animals such as Baloo which is a sloth bear, Bagheera which is a black panther, and so on. The two animals, Baloo and Bagheera, teach Mowgli the law of jungle because he becomes the king of the jungle.

Thus, Mowgli overcomes difficulties to become the king of the jungle, and then, he fights Shere Khan which is his long time enemy, so he won.

I had read this story in my childhood, but this story is difficult from the story I read. However, I enjoyed reading this book.

Movie Reviw 3 - Romeo+Juliet

Romeo and Juliet was a play written by William Shakespeare who was an English dramatist and poet, and who was the best English writer of English literature. He was also well known as writing the four best tragedy of him, which were Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, and King Lear.

In first day, Romeo (Leonardo DiCaprio) met Juliet (Claire Danes) in the masquerade which was held by Capulets but they were rival house and knew that each other. However, they fell in love at first sight each other and promised getting married. In second day, they got married but Romeo saw Mercutio (Harold Perrineau Jr.), one of his friends, killed by Capulets, so he killed Tybalt (John Leguizamo) who was a cousin of Juliet and he was deported on a court order. In third day, Juliet went to take advice from Friar Lawrence (Pete Postlethwaite). To succeed in their love, she once accepted getting married with Paris (Paul Rudd). After that, she took a drug to be state of apparent death. Friar Lawrence thought that he sent to Romeo to tell a plan that their going to Manture after she woke up, but he was not able to accept the letter. In the last day, Romeo kissed Juliet who slept by a drug and she woke up but he got something wrong and thought she was dead, so he decided to suicide by drinking poison. However, she didn’t die and found his dead, so she despaired and also decided to die.

I have watched this movie filmed in 1968, so I thought the movie impressed me but I couldn’t enjoy this movie. This movie was filmed in 1996 and it is said that this film was a contemporized version of it, so the characters wore an aloha shirt and they used not swords but guns, but it was funny for me. Why did they wear an aloha shirt? Why murders were only reprimanded? I had many questions while I watched it. Of course I thought it was interesting to put the situation contemporary, but I thought Baz Luhrmann had everything his way in this movie.

I love music very much, so I cannot live without music.
Then, I will show you a lot of my favorite bands or musicians, entitling "no music, no life".
This is the first time, so I want to show you a guitarist who is the greatest musician or guitarist for me. The artist is "hide".

Do you know "hide". He was famous for the guitarist of "X-JAPAN", at first. From 1993 he made his solo debut and he released two solo singles, "Eyes love you", "50 % 50" at the same time. After that, he released CDs one after another.

The greatest characteristic of him was his sense. He had great sense of music, fashion, and ideas. Music which he composed had various elements of so many kinds of music such as Industrial, hard rock, heavy metal, J-pops, and so on. So, I think his tunes are very awesome!!
Also, he designed some guitars, which called "hide model". I want these guitar because the guitars are so cute and cool! But these are expensive for me now. If I save money enough to buy one of them and if I become to play the guitar well, I will buy the guitar, "Yellow Heart".
