Today, I took a provisional license test.
I couldn't go the driving school recently because I have been busy for the last few weeks.
So, I got in an instruction car after a long time and I was so nervous.
But, I can pass the test without difficulty!! It was good to be able to pass it.

Essay3 My Favorite Animal
What are my favorite animals? I like nothing special. To stretch a point, I like dogs and cats because they are cute. So, I will talk about dogs and cats.
First, I mention characteristics of dogs. They have social conscious and they act in a group. Human beings and dogs have known each other long so they are obedient to us. Dogs also are essential for our life such as a shepherd’s dog, a seeing-eye dog, a police dog, a search and rescue dog and so on.
Second, I state features of cats. They have whiskers to decide to pass through narrow aisle or not, so that these whiskers help them run away natural enemies. By the way, why do we think cats are cute? It is probably that they have big eyes for their face comparatively and they have a round face.
In addition, dogs and cats are often used as a word of the proverbs. In proverbs using a word, “dog”, there are “Let sleeping dogs lie.” “Every dog has his day.” On the other hand, “cat” also appears in some proverbs, such as “Even a cat may look at a king.” “A cat has nine lives.”
Thus, dogs and cats are on friendly terms with us and they are popular as a pet because it is easy for us to have pets. I have never had pets so I want to have pets.

English Lounge
I do my utmost to take part in English Lounge but I have been there only twice because I'm free at 5 periods on Tuesday and Wednesday and am so busy now.
In English Lounge, I have been taught some greeting words by my senior at university, for example, "What's up, ~?" instead of "How are you?"
So, I can know natural English. I want to go there again!

Book review 1-04
On this occasion, I read this book, "THE BEATLES" because I like them.
My favorite their songs are "Help!", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Hey Jude" and so on.
The characteristic of this story is that their own mind was described well in every changing their situation. I think each of "THE BEATLES" was divided, for readers, to understand this story.
Moreover, there were a lot of backgrounds of their songs so we readers can know easily why they wrote the songs.
Through this book, I learned most of "THE BEATLES" such as the progress of putting together a band and the conflict of opinions in the band , especially between John and Paul
Did "THE BEATLES" succeeded easily? No, of course not.
They experienced a lot of hardship or miseries, for example, social criticism for them.
That is why I enjoyed learning a history of "THE BEATLES" so I wanted to listen to their music again.
It's miracle!!
Last Saturday, I went playing billiards with my friends.
Suddenly, my friend spilled oolong tea on the sofa but the can of oolong tea fell headlong into the sofa so the can did full handstand and became the situation like this picture!

I'm absorbed in watching the TV variety show, "How do you like Wednesday?" (in Japanese "Suiyou Doudesyou")
I think this TV show is ever so interesting! I have never watched such a interesting TV show!
Do you know Yō Ōizumi? He is a Japanese popular personality. He is one of casts in this TV show and he became more famous for " The Style of Temporary staff"(in Japanese "Haken no Hinkaku") If you know him, I hope you watch this variety show.

The other day, I looked for some books in library.
Then, I found a book, “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial”. The movie that was directed by Steven Spielberg is one of the most famous movies. When I was a child, I have watched it but now I have forgotten most of the story.
So, I want to read the book because I want to remember the story.
One day, the spaceship came slowly dawn to Earth. The door opened and the extra-terrestrials walked out. They are small and fat so they couldn't walk fast.
Why do they come to Earth? They came surveying the plants on Earth because they loved plants. Most of people didn't know that they were coming but some men already knew it. They were scientist and they wanted to know about the extra-terrestrials. The extra-terrestrials felt that scientists were coming so they hastened leave from Earth, but one of the extra-terrestrials was left behind on Earth.
After that, he met to an Earth boy, Elliot. They took up with each other so Elliot call the extra-terrestrial “E.T.” Elliot decided he helped E.T. who wanted to go home.
In the end, Elliot got help of his sister and friends and E.T. was able to go home.
I learned later that “E.T.” meant “The Extra-Terrestrial” when I read the first page. This story is full of heartwarming scenes so I was impressed the last scene. E.T. can go home through Elliot’s help. When E.T. went home, he asked to Elliot that he came with him but Elliot answered that he stayed sadly. Essay2 Description of an object
Today, music is loved all over the world. The music can be divided into several types.
The first type is the classical music. Generally, classical music is considered to be Western traditional music, but originally, to be Western traditional religious music and music of Imperial Court. The second type is jazz. The origin of jazz is mixture of the labor song which blacks song, blues, and white music culture. A characteristic of jazz is a free form of expression. Now, jazz is one of the modern styles of music art beyond a race, nationality and genre. The last type is rock music which is a genre of popular music born in the U.S. in 1950’s. The rock music gave not only other music but also, thought, fashion, art, and pop cultures a shock, very strong. The rock music tends to strongly express a rebellious spirit and against the established general ideas and system. Moreover, rock music can be divided into more groups, for example, hard rock, heavy metal, punk rock and more!
These types are just a few examples of types of music. New genres may be born from now on.

My favorite Japanese bands (musicians) are “X-JAPAN”, “hide”, “THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS”, “ZEPPET STORE”, “the pillows” and so on. I like lots and lots of bands!
Moreover, in foreign bands, I like “Nine Inch Nails”, ”Stone Temple Pilots” and oldies(The Beatles etc…) Do you like music? If you answer “Yes”, who musician do you like? Please tell me about them.
What do I like reading? I like fantasy stories, for example, “The Load of the Rings”. I was greatly moved by the movie, so I read it written in Japanese. Now, I want to read it written in English.
By the way, I have two dreams. First, I want to be an English teacher. When I was a high school student, I met a great English teacher. English he taught is very interesting so I like English. I went to "Jyuttokuya" and ate out with my family there last night. "Jyuttokuya" is an izakaya (a Japanese style pub) and is like a bar and a restaurant combined so my father and I drank.These pictures are alcohol which I drink. The left picture is "ume liqueur" and another one is "cassis-orange".

Mah-jongg!
Today, I played mah-jongg with my friends in free time.
I know a little the rule of mah-jongg because I have played it once or twice, but I really enjoyed playing it!

My Favorite Artist!!
I could buy 5 CDs (single CDs) last Saturday at last!!
I was saving to buy these CDs which are long-awaited are "MISERY", "Beauty & Stupid", "ROCKET DIVE", "ever free", and "HURRY GO ROUND" !! These are hide's works.
I'm a big fan of "hide"!!!!!! Without knowing him, I couldn't love music.

Book Review 1-2
I read "DRAGON HEART" this time because I took a fancy to this title.
When I looked for some interesting books in library, I found this title. Then, I thought it was cool.
This story is about dragons and knights, kings and peasants.
The keyword of this story is "the Old Code". This word means that kings were kind to peasants and knights helped their king. If the king made it a rule to keep "the Old Code", life was good and everybody in the country was happy.
However, the king forgot "the Old Code" and he enjoyed killing the peasants so everything started to change. Einon, son of the king, and Sir Bowen, one of knights, hated it.
One day, the king and knights fought with peasants. Then, the king was dead. Einon who watched his father die fought with peasants but Einon was also dead.
Only the great dragon, which is the last dragon, could bring Einon back to life. The dragon revived him by giving half dragon's heart because Sir Bowen promised teaching Einon "the Old Code" to dragon.
That is why Einon revived but he became cruel king like his father. Sir Bowen thought dragon's heart made Einon cruel so he went to fight dragon. However, they recognized each other after a long fight. After that, Sir Bowen named the dragon "Draco".
Eventually, Sir Bowen and Draco fought to Einon but Einon didn't die because the half of his heart is the same as Draco's! In fact, Einon's death means Draco's death.
In the end, both Draco and Einon died so Draco became the biggest star in the sky.
I was very impressed by the last scene! Draco gave his life for believing in peace so he became the biggest and brightest star.
Eventually, Sir Bowen and Draco fought to Einon but Einon didn't die because the half of his heart is the same as Draco's! In fact, Einon's death means Draco's death.
In the end, both Draco and Einon died so Draco became the biggest star in the sky.
